EPD stands for Emergency POwer Delivery. When you run out of juice in Flatcharge and you are in utter need of power delivery then you can enable the Emergency Power Delivery option on your smartphone to get the limited power in the hour of need. Notice that you can only use this feature for 5 times in a month.
Q.8Do I need to connect any inverter with the Flatcharge?
No, Flatcharge comes with a inbuilt advance inverter which is power efficient, silent and small in size which is perfectly compatible with the Flatcharge.

When Flatcharge is not supplying power then either it must be discharged or the wiring is not done properly.

Yes, the Flatcharge is totally compatible with the Solar Panels. You need to buy the Solar Panels on your own and the smart solar module which enables the Flatcharge to properly sync with the Solar Panels.

Yes, Flatcharge can charge from Grid or Solar Energy and at the same time provide power supply to you.

No, the Flatcharge is different than the other traditional inverter and batteries and thus it needs different inverter which is specially designed to be used with it.
Q.17What kind of batteries for energy storage does the Flatcharge uses? Are they safe?
The Flatcharge uses the Lithium -ion batteries inside it which are properly attached, insulated and have a cooling system inside. There is very short chance of the short circuit inside it which is about one in a million.
